Lesley Nardini – District 59 Spring 2008 Conference – Prague, Czech Republic

Lesley Nardini has been a member of Toastmasters for more than 10 years starting in her home state of Oregon in the US and now she’s enjoying the benefits of Toastmasters in Europe after having moved here 2 years ago. While living in the US Lesley worked as a seminar leader for a company that provides business seminars and workshops for company’s in different parts of the world. The skills and confidence she has gained through Toastmasters helped her to realize her dream of becoming an internationally recognzied speaker. These skills also helped her to win the title of Mrs. Oregon International in 1997 and she is now the Executive Director of this program.

Lesley is currently the Division F Governor for Southwest Germany. She enjoys being involved in community service and has used the leadership skills learned in Toastmasters to chair numerous fund raising events as well as serving as a board member for the National Kidney Foundation in Oregon. Lesley and her husband Carlo have 2 children—a son who is attending univeristy in Los Angeles and a their daughter who lives with them in Germany.
