Ellen Hermens – District 59 Spring 2008 Conference – Prague, Czech Republic

Ellen Hermens is a dedicated Toastmaster. She achieved meanwhile the title Advanced Communicator Silver (ACS) and Competent Leader (CL) and has been very active in club officer boards and cross-club as Area Governor and Division Governor. In 2007 she got the award “Division Governor of the Year”. She is founder member of the Munich Business Speakers. At the moment she serves as VP Membership and as PR officer in the European district (continental Europe, www.district59.org).

Ellen Hermens works as a coach and trainer in her own business SpeechCoach - advance4you. She focuses on presentation training and coaching in which she brings in her extensive experience of Toastmasters and her business life.

In this framework of advance4you she looks after and coaches as BNI director several networking groups. Especially in this area Ellen benefits a lot from the leadership track at Toastmasters.

Part-time Ellen Hermens supports her husband the internet agency @mazing. Here she is also the webmaster for www.munich-toastmasters.de. @mazing focuses on a professional websites with high usability.
