Spring Division D Conference

April 26, 2008 – Erlangen, Germany

The beautifully preserved baroque town of Erlangen was the venue for the 2008 Division D Spring Conference and what an exciting day it was! The Erlangen Toastmasters were charming and efficient hosts and provided wonderful hospitality including a perfect spring day with beer garden!

The contest speeches and evaluations were of a consistently high standard. Judges from Bohemian, Erlangen and Nurmberg Toastmasters had an exacting task to find the winners of both contests. The educational sessions were enlightening, interactive and fun.

After the results were announced there was a guided tour of the old town followed by a relaxed, informal social in a local pub where German, Czech, Austrian and Hungarian Toastmasters enjoyed each other’s company. A great event for all who attended.
